Cervical Cancer Diagnosis System Using Ant-Miner for Managing the Knowledge in Medical Database

The fourth most frequent cause of cancer death in women is cervical cancer. No sign can be observed the early stages disease. In addition, diagnosis methods used health centers are time-consuming and costly. Data classification has been widely applied for knowledge acquisition. However, none existing intelligent comprehensible, they look like a black box to clinicians. this paper, an ant colony optimization-based algorithm, Ant-Miner analyze data set. set was obtained from repository University California, Irvine. proposed algorithm outperforms previous approach, support vector machine, same domain, terms better result accuracy. method implemented as engine prototype system named detection system. Evaluation demonstrates good on its usability functionality.
